"Update: Heartbreaking News from President Lovell Revealed"

Dear Marquette community members  It's with deep sadness that we write to partake the  delicate news that Marquette University President MichaelR. Lovell passed away  moment after a three- time battle with sarcoma, a rare form of cancer.

Together, we  supplicate for President Lovell's family, especially his  woman

Amy, his children, and his  musketeers, as well as for all members of the Marquette and Milwaukee communities, as we mourn this valuable loss.  

President Lovell and Amy were in Rome with members of the Society of Jesus and the Board of Trustees on a Jesuit  conformation passage when President Lovell fell ill and was taken to a sanitarium in Rome.  President Lovell's decade of leadership at Marquette was marked by a deep commitment to  invention.

entrepreneurship, and community renewal and development —  harmonious with the  charge of the Catholic and Jesuit university that animates him. As an entrepreneur, President Lovell encouraged Marquette and Milwaukee to ask what could be done rather than accept the status quo. 

Throughout his administration, he attended hundreds of lot events each time and continued to educate undergraduate  scholars in his product  consummation class, saying that he  deduced great energy from his  relations with  scholars, faculty, andstaff.

A member of the Milwaukee community, President Lovell served on  multitudinous original boards and  public advanced education  colleges, where his associates appreciated his  cooperative spirit,  modesty, and capability to advance complex ideas. 

Together, President Lovell and Amy are  settlers in addressing  internal health issues in our region head- on. His  benefactions to Marquette will be flashed back   ever, just as his loss reverberates throughout our community.

Support and  coffers are available to the lot community through Lot Services, the Faber Center, the Counseling Center and the Hand backing Program, which are available24/7. A lot prayer event is being planned and  plaintive arrangements will be participated with Marquette moment when available.  

The days ahead will be full of  heartache. In this time of grief and  anguish, let us come together as a community connected by faith and love.
