"Biden and Bernie Join Forces to WIN Working Class Voters While Trump Lags!"

Sanders held a total of six “Building Working Class Power” events across Wisconsin from Wednesday to Saturday, in places like Mount Pleasant, Sheboygan, Kaukauna, Stevens Point, Eau Claire and La Crosse.

“We are thrilled to have Senator Bernie Sanders in Wisconsin to campaign for the only candidate in this election who is fighting for working people: Joe Biden,” said Biden's Wisconsin campaign press secretary, Timothy White.

“While President Biden is holding Big Pharma accountable, lowering prescription drug costs, and building an economy that works for everyone – Trump is only focused on giving tax breaks to his billionaire friends and big corporations.”

According to a press release, the independent senators' demonstration was aimed at "Building Working Class Power."

The Biden campaign noted that the demonstration was not affiliated with the president's bid for reelection.

“Bernie Sanders may be an independent, but everyone recognizes that this election is about more than party affiliation,” said Democratic strategist Max Burns. “We must all ensure Donald Trump never sets foot in the White House again, and Bernie's massive rallies are a sign of unity between progressives and centrists.”

“Bernie has always had a large following in Wisconsin, and it's great to see him working with Biden to ensure voters support democracy in November,” he added.Sanders defeated Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democratic presidential primary in Wisconsin, defeating her by double digits.

However, Clinton later became a candidate before facing Trump. “This is an all-hands-on-deck moment and Senator Sanders is a powerful voice for working people,” explained former President Obama's senior adviser, Eric Schultz.

"There is no one with more at stake in November than hardworking Americans and Senator Sanders is uniquely positioned to make the case that we need leadership in Washington that is supported by working people.

"Democratic strategist Brad Bannon also noted Sanders' commitment to preventing Trump from becoming president again and having a chance to fight the issues the senator has prioritized, saying, "Whatever hope there is for Medicare for all" and action on the issue of change climate “will disappear completely if he becomes president.”

But he thinks there may be more motivating Sanders' labor tour, which also took him to Ohio and New York this summer. According to Bannon, the Vermont lawmaker, who is seeking re-election this year, could also campaign for Secretary of Labor in Biden's second term.

"He may still want that Labor job," he said.

Biden had revealed in 2021 that he was considering Sanders for the post in his administration, but due to the tight majority in the Senate and Vermont's potential to vote Republican, he did not give it to him.

“Bernie and I agree – in fact, Bernie said this – 'we cannot gamble control of the Senate on the outcome of a special election in Vermont,'” Biden said when announcing Boston Mayor Marty Walsh was elected president. Position, the Daily Beast reported at the time.

A White House spokesman denied that the administration was actively considering cabinet nominees for a second term. The senator had no comment when asked by Fox News Digital whether he would accept the role.

Sanders' switch to labor-heavy Wisconsin comes as Trump competes with Biden for a critical pool of voters, choosing to meet with the Teamsters union and address a group of United Auto Workers members during their strike.
