The Spring Bloom Walk at the Van der Brohe Arboretum at Two Rivers offers a chance to explore the grounds and see the flowers in bloom

 The Van der Brohe Arboretum & Bird Sanctuary at Two Rivers will  protest off the season with a Spring Bloom Walk.

The walk will take place from 1 to 3p.m. June 9 on the plantation grounds, 3800 LincolnAve., Two Rivers. The entrance ticket is free.   

Enjoy the vibrant beauty of spring at the plantation. This relaxed event is an  occasion to explore the grounds and immerse yourself in the  various display of blooming flowers. 

Walk through the beautiful trails, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of nature in bloom.

Manitowoc County Vietnam stagers of America  blazoned education donors  Vietnam stagers of America, ChapterNo. 731, Manitowoc County, has blazoned the donors of two$ 1,000  literacy.   The first philanthropist, Amber Fieko of Roncalli High School, will attend Lakeland University to major in business administration- finance.   

The alternate philanthropist, Sydney Redwine of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, will attend UW- Madison to major in business.  All high  academy  scholars in Manitowoc County are eligible to apply for the education by the April 1 deadline. As part of the  operation, they must  solicit a  stager and submit an essay about what they've learned about the  stager in an  trouble to help  scholars understand military service. 

The essays are  also judged by a group of  roughly 20 chapter members.   The chapter awards between two and five  literacy each time, depending on the number of  operations. All eligible seniors are encouraged to check out this  occasion.   

The Red Cross is planning a blood drive  The American Red Cross is planning a blood drive in Manitowoc County.  The first will take place from 9 am to 2 pm on June 3 at the Elks Lodge, 1807N. Rapids Road, Manitowoc.   The second will be held 1- 6 pm June 20 atSt.

The Red Cross has teamed up with Tetris,  generators of the iconic and best- dealing   videotape game, to celebrate their 40th anniversary and  make a blood  force for cases in need.

Tear Event June 8 at Bank First  Bank First will host a free  reduction event from 9a.m. to noon June 8 at its 402N. EighthSt., Manitowoc  position.   

While the shredding event is free and open to the public, Bank First asks attendees to make anon-perishable food donation in exchange for each bag of shredded  particular documents. 

All food donations will be distributed to original  haze kitchens.   nonpublic Records, a AAA- certified shredding company, will  give a mobile shredding unit to destroy all  particular and  nonpublic documents. 

The company employs  certified and clicked document destruction specialists and guarantees the secure  junking of destroyed documents.   

To  insure that sufficient  tale space is available for the public, businesses are asked not to  share in this event. The event will be held rain or shine.
