More fully, this German manufacturer also presents hidden active aerodynamic elements that contribute to optimizing vehicle performance, one of which is a carbon profile that can automatically react to extend downwards up to 40 mm at a speed of 80 km/hour to reduce lifting force on the front axle.

Apart from that, another active component is the rear spoiler which can be extended and integrated into the trunk lid. The position may change depending on driving conditions. The AMG GT 63 S E Performance adapts control software that modifies various aspects, including driving speed as well as longitudinal and lateral acceleration.

The two-door coupe has a composite brake system from AMG with bronze six-piston calipers at the front and single-piston floating calipers at the rear. It is equipped with aerodynamic 20-inch AMG light alloy ten-spoke rims.

The interior is equipped with an intuitive MBUX multimedia system displaying a variety of features, including hybrid tuning. This exclusive “AMG Performance” item displays visuals about the hybrid performance of the GT 63 S E Performance, including speed, power, torque and electric motor temperature.

The AMG 4.0 liter V8 biturbo engine is combined with an electric motor at the rear, producing a combined power of 816 hp and 1,420 Nm of torque. Thus, this car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 320 km/h.

This performance is supported by 4Matic+ all-wheel drive developed by the AMG division. Also present is a lithium-ion battery pack whose technology is taken from the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team.

The battery has a capacity of 6.1 kWh which can be charged with a power of 3.7 kW, so it can run on pure electric power for up to 13 km.
