No matter their differences, they will feel like they're the center of attention for a week," said Amanda Rapel, one of the scholars.
" Which is really good for tone- confidence and tone- regard, I suppose that is important." “ Addition Week means opening yourself up to meeting new people you do not typically meet, ” added pupil Julia Buttitta.
Addition Week events, similar as red carpets and big basketball games, dominate academy timetables and halls, where everyone feels involved.

“ Our scholars with and without disabilities, we bring them all together to bring them together, to give them as numerous inclusive openings as possible this week.
” The Peer Program is the main program this week. The 300 completely integrated special education scholars enrolled are each paired with a peer, and they spend the entire day together as a platoon, clicked by their admiration for each other.
“ This is a highlight of my time, and everyone then, they made it the stylish time, and it made everyone really happy, ” said pupil Ellie Galusha, whose friend, Emily Smith, added that it meant “ a lot.
” When walking the academy halls, there are signs-- some subtle and some not-- reminding scholars to always choose kindness. From every corner, to the classroom door, to the chain of kindness floating at the entrance, kindness and compassion lined the walls.
It's a time to meet someone new, experience commodity different, and hopefully have a life- changing experience, said pupil Marvelous Shabi.

“ Actually, it's enough amazing, ” added pupil Manny McPherson. The idea was sparkedpost-pandemic to reunite children, and has since grown into a surge of virtuousness.
From red carpet events, to Peer musketeers and musical theater, they do it all-- together. “ Together, we're better, right? That is the aphorism, ” said star Kyle Rovi. “ They buy what we vend, and that is good for the academy.
” The Unified Basketball Match was the main highlight scholars look forward to Addition Week all time, but it's the final event-- the Unified Basketball Game-- that is on everyone's minds all week.
“ We had a big event where everyone came and watched us at the end of the day, ” said pupil Patrick Leeper." There was a party in the cafeteria where there was music and food, and everyone was having a good time and celebrating."
" Basketball games, that is like my favorite part of the time. Just playing, seeing them having fun, just seeing the crowd then cheering them on, they love it," said inferior Matthew Scerbo.
Have they ever. The scholars could not stop talking about this shocking event-- from the crowd, the atmosphere, to the firing.
And of course, you can not enjoy a great game without an after party. For the Stateliners, it'll be the result of a game well played and an inclusive job well done.
